Terms of Service

By creating an account or using JobSeeker-AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Continued use of the service after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use JobSeeker-AI.

JobSeeker-AI is an AI-powered career tools platform operated by Startova Labs LLC. The platform helps users build resumes, generate cover letters, prepare for interviews, and search for jobs.

All AI-generated content is based solely on information provided by the user. JobSeeker-AI does not fabricate experience, credentials, or qualifications.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Each person may create only one account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account by contacting support@jobseeker-ai.com.

JobSeeker-AI offers the following plans:

• Free — Limited features, no payment required.
• Pro — $19.99/month or $179.88/year.
• Premium — $34.99/month or $299.88/year.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time via Account Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.

Annual plans may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Monthly plans are non-refundable.

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days notice via email or in-app notification. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

This policy applies equally to free and paid accounts.

Inactivity Definition: An account is considered inactive if the user has not logged in for 6 consecutive months.

Warning Notifications: Before account deletion, we will send email warnings at the following intervals:

• 30 days before the 6-month inactivity mark
• 15 days before the 6-month inactivity mark
• 7 days before the 6-month inactivity mark
• 2 days before the 6-month inactivity mark

Grace Period: After the 6-month inactivity mark is reached, there is a 30-day grace period before deletion. No additional warnings are sent during this grace period.

Deletion: If no login occurs within the 30-day grace period, the account and all associated data are permanently deleted. This includes profile data, resumes, cover letters, job search history, and all other user-generated content.

Reactivation: Logging in at any point before deletion resets the inactivity clock.

Active Subscriptions: If the account has an active paid subscription, the subscription will be cancelled before deletion. No refund is provided for the remaining period.

• You can delete your account at any time via Account Settings → Danger Zone.
• Account deletion is immediate and permanent.
• If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled immediately with no refund for the current billing period.
• All data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

You may not:

• Use the platform to generate misleading or fraudulent job application materials.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse the API.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing.

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination without notice.

• All content is generated by AI based solely on information you provide.
• JobSeeker-AI does not fabricate experience, credentials, or qualifications.
• You are responsible for reviewing all generated content for accuracy before submitting to employers or other third parties.
• We do not guarantee employment outcomes or interview success.
• AI-generated content may contain errors — you should verify all details for accuracy.

• You own the content you generate using the platform (resumes, cover letters, etc.).
• You grant JobSeeker-AI a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
• The platform, its codebase, AI prompts, and design are proprietary to Startova Labs LLC and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

User data is sent to third-party AI providers (OpenAI) for content generation as described in our Privacy Policy.

JobSeeker-AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Startova Labs LLC is not liable for employment outcomes, content errors, service interruptions, or data loss beyond what is required by applicable law.

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amounts you have paid to us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes via email or in-app notification.

Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
